A two-year postdoc position is available at Jacobs University Bremen in the research group of Soeren Petrat. This position is part of the DFG research project on "Asymptotic Expansions for the Weakly Interacting Bose Gas". The goal is to further develop recent  techniques for proving asymptotic expansions for the dynamics and the spectrum/eigenfunctions of the mean-field Bose gas. The project aims at applying these  expansions to compute other interesting quantities, and at deriving such expansions for  more complicated interactions. Extensive scientific exchange within the Bremen research group, and within the joint French-German collaboration project on "Effective Approximation and Dynamics of Many-Body Quantum Systems" (http://effective-quantum.org) is planned.

The starting date is flexible. It is aimed to fill the position as soon as possible in 2023, and by  Sep. 2023 the latest.

This is a 2-year position paid according to DFG standards (100% position, E13). There is no mandatory teaching load, but there are opportunities to gather teaching experience if desired by the applicant.
