The successful candidates will work on a cross-disciplinary research project which seek to develop cutting edge methodologies to support a framework for modelling and prediction of fish stock’s population dynamics and uncertainty quantification. The principal areas of research will include elements of computational modeling, optimization, parameter estimation, image processing, and numerical solutions to space-time ordinary, partial, and delay differential equations.

A master's degree in mathematics, computational sciences, mathematical biology, or a related field is required. Excellent grades in the graduate level, and strong programming skills in Matlab, C/C++ or Python, are also expected.
