About This Opportunity
The successful appointee will be expected to:
· teach undergraduate and postgraduate mathematics courses;
· engage in curriculum development;
· supervise postgraduate and honours students;
· conduct high-quality research;
· perform administrative, outreach and other activities associated with the School.
This position is located at our picturesque St Lucia campus (https://campuses.uq.edu.au/st-lucia), renowned as one of Australia’s most attractive university campuses, and located just 7km from Brisbane’s city centre. They will be an enthusiastic teacher, with the ability to teach courses and supervise projects in financial mathematics and other areas of mathematics or statistics. What We Can Offer
This is a full-time, continuing position at Academic level B/C.
The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range AUD$95,771 - $135,276 plus super of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be in the range AUD$112,052 - $158,272.

Our Selection Process
Please note that Seminars and Interviews have been scheduled for the week commencing 18 November 2019 at The University of Queensland's St Lucia campus.
As part of the Selection Process, applicants shortlisted for interview will be required to present a seminar and mock lecture to members of the school community prior to their scheduled interview. Research seminars and lecture topics will be provided with adequate notice to shortlisted candidates.
