The Institute of Mathematics and Scientific Computing is looking for a

Lecturer (m/f/d)

20 hours a week
fixed-term employment for 6 years
position to be filled as of now
 
Your duties
  • Teaching of courses in teaching methodology and didactics of mathematics (extend: 6 semester hours)
  • Participation in the further development and evaluation of the mathematics teacher education curriculum
  • Participation in the organization and coordination of mathematics didactics
  • Collaboration in the Regional Center for Didactics in Mathematics and Geometry
  • Arrangement of school contacts
Your Profile
  • Teacher training in mathematics (secondary level)
  • Very good knowledge of German
  • Good knowledge of English
  • At least half of a teaching position at an AHS or BHS in the subject area of mathematics
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of mathematics at a secondary school or other equivalent professional experience
  • engagement in activities of professional development in the area of education
  • Above-average didactic ability and methodological competence
  • Commitment to subject didactics (e.g. in the context of continuing education programs, job-related networks or collaboration on textbooks, etc.)
  • Teamwork and motivational skills (desirable)
  • Experience in inclusive teaching (desirable)
