There is an opportunity for a fixed term Postdoctoral Fellowship in
Number Theory funded by the Marsden Grant “Rational Points and Anabelian
Geometry” held by Dr. Brendan Creutz and Prof. Felipe Voloch. The
project focusses on obstructions to the existence of rational points on
varieties over global fields and connections to anabelian geometry. In
this role you will undertake research related to the project,
independently and in collaboration with other researchers. The
fellowship is externally-funded for 1 year, with the possibility of a 1
year extension that will involve a small amount of undergraduate
teaching. Some funding for travel is also available.
