The Chair of Statistics and Econometrics (chaired by Prof. Dr. Roxana Halbleib) at the University of Freiburg is looking for a

Postdoctoral Research Fellow (100% TVL-E13)

in Econometrics

starting with January 1st, 2025.

The appointment is for an initial period of two years with the potential for renewal. The successful applicant needs to have (or she/he is about to have in a foreseeable future) a Doctoral degree in econometrics, statistics, (quantitative) economics or related fields as well as a publishing record or evidence of potential to publish in leading econometrics or statistics journals. Proficiency in a programming language and in English is obligatory, while proficiency in German is not mandatory, but advantageous. The willingness of the candidate to contribute to the research of the chair is appreciated. The teaching load for the position is of 4 semester hours per week, during the semester.
