The Mathematics Research Lab (MRL) is part of the Center of Excellence for Research, Development, and Innovation at Baku State University (BSU), Azerbaijan. Established in 2024, the lab aims to establish a dynamic mathematical environment by uniting leading mathematicians from around the world to collaborate on advanced research activities.

Tenure-Track and Post-Doc Positions

MRL is currently seeking exceptional mathematicians in all areas of mathematics and at all career levels to join its team starting in July 2025 or earlier. The lab offers a unique opportunity to focus exclusively on research, with no mandatory teaching responsibilities. However, researchers may choose to teach at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at BSU and supervise graduate students.

The lab is recruiting for tenure-track positions at the levels of Post-doc fellows, Assistant Researcher, Associate Researcher, Full Researcher, or Distinguished Researcher. Applicants should demonstrate a strong record of research excellence, including significant contributions to their field and a commitment to advancing mathematical knowledge. Salary offered is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
