One Postdoc position at the interface of discrete mathematics and algorithms is available at the University of Kassel (Institute of Mathematics). Applicants with a strong background in combinatorics (graph theory, order theory, discrete geometry), algorithms, discrete optimization and/or algebra are encouraged to apply. We seek a strong postdoctoral researcher to complement our group, which currently consists of 2 PhD students and 2 Postdocs (https://www.uni-kassel.de/fb10/institute/mathematik/arbeitsgruppen/algorithmische-algebra-und-diskrete-mathematik/prof-dr-torsten-muetze/team).

The starting date is October 01, 2025, but somewhat flexible, and the position is for 3 years, with the possiblity of extension by 3 additional years.
