Your Responsibilities
- Writing a dissertation in the field Algebra and/or Algebraic geometry
- Independent research projects in the field of mathematics
- Conduct and assist in teaching activities (1.5 hours per week per semester in average) in English and/or German
- Present and publish scientific results at conferences and in peer-reviewed scientific journals
Your Profile
- Strong interest in research in Representation theory and/or Algebraic geometry
- Strong background in Mathematics, ideally specialising in Algebra and/or Algebraic geometry
- Familiarity with Knörrer-invariant algebras and related structures is an advantage
- Ability to work in a team and social competence
- Very good command of English
- proficiency in German is beneficial, but not required
- Completion of an http://M.Sc. degree (or equivalent) in Mathematics or related field prior to appointment
