This position is granted the privilege of focusing primarily on research for a period of 5 years. During that period the teaching load will be limited to no more than 8 ECTS credits per semester on average over a period of 3 years. You lecture various course units in the discipline of data analysis and mathematical modelling.
You conduct research in the discipline of spatio-temporal data analysis and modelling. The selected applicant will have an expertise that is complementary to ongoing research in the department and the faculty and will reinforce the department’s scientific potential and strengthen the research activities in the abovementioned field. He/she will collaborate with the other research groups in the department. He/she is also expected to realize a substantial research output of high quality, to propose subjects for master and PhD theses and to apply for research grants.
You take part in the internal and external service provision of the department of Mathematical Modelling, Statistics and Bioinformatics.
