We are looking for ambitious, excellent PhD students in Applied Mathematics or related fields

for the Doctoral Program (DK) "Dissipation and dispersion in nonlinear partial differential equations", http://npde.tuwien.ac.at,

and the Special Research Program (SFB) "Taming complexity in partial differential systems", http://www.univie.ac.at/sfb65,

at TU Wien, Universität Wien, and IST Austria. You may choose between several topics detailed in the Application Form.

Requirements: Master degree in (Applied) Mathematics or related fields with excellent marks, very good knowledge in Partial Differential Equations (analysis and/or numerics), good knowledge in English, team-working abilities.

You will benefit from the activities of the doctoral school "Dissipation and Dispersion of Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations" and the Vienna Center of Partial Differential
Equations, including an intensive joint supervision, a weekly common seminar, sommer and winter schools, soft-skill training courses, and workshops organized in Vienna.
